Terms of Use

Last updated: 4 October 2026. The provider is MEA NETZE – Franjo Pehar, Industriestraße 7, 63165 Mühlheim am Main, Deutschland. Contact through the support chat. These terms describe use of the website, the BauDoku Mini Android app and the BauDoku Office Windows application. They become contractual terms only where made available before the contract and validly agreed. Visiting the website alone does not create a paid subscription.

1. Purpose and scope of the service

BauDoku supports local documentation of construction, trade and service work, management of related customers, projects and documents, and creation and export of reports. Android can be used independently for local reports. The planned Windows companion instead requires valid activation through the entitled Android app and is not publicly available yet. The features and system requirements of the version actually supplied and the specific offer at purchase determine the scope.

BauDoku does not provide legal, tax, payroll or safety advice or an official inspection. Summaries and billing records do not replace your professional review or a properly issued invoice. Recording a condition in the software does not automatically establish legal acceptance, approval or guaranteed evidential value.

2. Licence and third-party rights

Unless otherwise agreed in the specific offer, you receive a non-exclusive right to use the supplied software for the agreed functions personally or within your own business. The scope, duration and any device restriction of a purchased entitlement follow the clearly displayed offer. Copyright in the program is not transferred.

You retain rights in your own content and exports. Use does not grant us a general right to publish or sell your reports, photographs or signatures. Third-party licence notices must be respected. Uses permitted by law, including mandatory rights of examination or interoperability, remain unaffected; unauthorised redistribution as your own work or circumvention of effective protection mechanisms is not permitted.

3. Devices, versions and availability

Local Android reporting requires no BauDoku online account. Google Play needs the relevant Google services. The planned Windows activation and renewal require internet; business data exchange also needs a reachable connection between the devices. This does not create a central archive of reports. The protected Windows version is not publicly available yet.

Test, debug and preview versions are labelled in the downloads. Use suitable backups and assess their fitness for your use. These labels do not remove mandatory legal rights. Describing a future feature does not create an entitlement to an extension that has not been provided.

4. Lawful content and permissions

Use the software lawfully. Check that you may capture customer and employee information, photographs, signatures and others’ documents for the intended purpose and share them with your selected recipient. Inform affected individuals where required. Do not intentionally create false evidence or use another person’s signature without authority.

You decide the inputs, templates and sharing and check generated documents for accuracy and completeness before use. Businesses should establish appropriate device access and responsibilities. These obligations do not remove the provider’s own statutory responsibility for the software.

5. Local information and backups

Business information generally stays in your local app storage or Office workspace. We do not keep a central archive of your reports. Make appropriate backups before changing devices, repairs, reinstallation or restoration. Removing app storage or replacing a workspace can delete local data.

Manual ZIP backups and the Office backup you can optionally enable are for your own data protection. Exported ZIPs are not password-encrypted. Check the location, access controls and ability to restore successfully. A synchronised folder you choose is also subject to its service. Deleting a local report does not automatically remove backup or external copies.

6. PDFs, signatures and originals

PDFs are created on your action. Check entries, images, pages, signatures and missing confirmations before handing them over. A finger- or pen-drawn signature and a local document fingerprint do not promise a qualified electronic signature or guaranteed evidential value in court. Their legal significance depends on the transaction and applicable rules.

Keep required originals and exported versions yourself. Changes may require a new review or signature. Office review or project filing replaces neither customer agreement nor receipt of the document. Preparing a PDF or email package does not mean it has been delivered.

7. Exports and optional device connection

You choose the content, destination and recipient when exporting or sharing. Third-party email, cloud storage, messaging, printing and VPN services are not operated by us and their terms additionally apply to your use of them. Office email drafts do not send anything automatically.

For direct Android/Windows transfers, start the receiver, compare the approval code and authorise the device. Keep invitations and credentials confidential and revoke unused approvals. A transfer is treated as successful by the app only after a matching receipt. Check unconfirmed operations before retrying. Copies remain on the destination device. Availability also depends on your network, VPN and firewall; we do not configure these automatically.

8. Paid Android offers and Google Play

If you purchase BauDoku Pro through Google Play, its price, currency, term, included features, renewal and any trial are shown before confirmation in the purchase dialog. The offer you confirm governs; this website does not set a different price. Processing and payment details are handled by Google Play and the contracting party identified at checkout. Use the same entitled Google account for restoration.

The planned Windows companion is unlocked through verified Android Pro or an active shared trial; Free is insufficient. Connecting devices does not trigger an additional purchase. No Windows package or Windows purchase is offered here. The product actually supplied and the confirmed Google Play offer remain authoritative.

The planned Windows version requires BauDoku Mini on Android with verified Pro entitlement or an active shared trial. Android Free cannot activate Office. One Windows PC may be active per entitlement. Creating or editing reports and exporting PDFs or data remain locked without activation.

Windows entitlement cannot outlast the Android entitlement. An annual term does not permit a year without checks: activation and renewal need internet, with a new check no later than every 24 hours and again during connected Android data exchange. Replacing the PC revokes the previous activation; an offline PC can remain unlocked only until its previously issued entitlement expires.

9. Play subscription renewal and cancellation

An automatically renewing subscription continues according to the purchase-dialog rules until cancelled. Manage or cancel it in the correct Google account under Google Play → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions. Uninstalling the app or deleting local data does not cancel a Google Play subscription.

Cancellation generally stops future renewal; access already paid for continues to the end of its billing period under the specific offer’s terms. Google Play may additionally offer eligible users in Germany with billing periods longer than one month immediate cancellation and a request for a prorated refund; access ends immediately with that option. Follow the options shown in the relevant Play dialog. Trials and changes of plan follow the rules displayed beforehand. Expiry or purchase problems may limit access to Pro features. Subscription expiry is not an instruction to automatically delete reports. Statutory rights to refunds, remedies for defects and contract termination remain available.

10. Consumer withdrawal and refunds

Consumers entering a distance contract generally have a 14-day withdrawal right where statutory conditions apply. For digital content, early loss of this right requires the prescribed conditions, including express consent to starting early, acknowledgement of losing the right and the required contract confirmation. Installation or this page alone does not replace those declarations. Digital services are subject to their relevant statutory rules.

For Google Play purchases, follow the withdrawal information provided at checkout and contact the contracting party stated there. Play refund requests can be made through Google Play Help at support.google.com/googleplay; contact us through the support chat for assistance. Subscription cancellation and withdrawal or a refund request are different actions. Google policies do not restrict mandatory statutory rights.

Where withdrawal must be addressed to us, send an unambiguous notice to MEA NETZE – Franjo Pehar, Industriestraße 7, 63165 Mühlheim am Main, Deutschland, or through the support chat. For example, provide the contract/product, order or contract date, your name and address, and a clear statement that you withdraw from the contract. You may add a date and signature to a paper notice. This example is optional; sending the notice before the deadline is sufficient to meet it.

11. Defects, updates and support

Statutory remedies for defects apply, including applicable rules for digital products. Required updates, including security updates, are supplied according to legal and contractual requirements, taking necessary installation information into account. These terms do not shorten statutory warranty or limitation periods.

Report reproducible faults with version, device and description through the support chat. Share only necessary, preferably anonymised information. No particular support response time or permanent support for every old operating-system version is promised unless agreed in the offer or required by law. Material changes to an ongoing digital contract require the relevant conditions; changing this page alone does not agree a material restriction.

12. Liability

Statutory liability rules govern breaches and damage. These terms contain no blanket exclusion of liability for loss of data, profit or other damage. Liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence, death or personal injury, mandatory product liability and expressly given guarantees remains unaffected.

Actual contributory responsibility, such as failure to make a reasonable backup, can be considered only under applicable law. Recommending backups and checking documents does not automatically exclude your claims.

13. Security, changes and software distribution

Obtain installers and updates from the identified sources and check warnings for test versions. Protect devices and backups. Report security issues through the support chat. Do not interfere with another person’s data, credentials or invitations. The app gives no permission to access a device or file without the authorised person’s consent.

We may improve features and offer new versions. Existing paid contracts remain governed by their agreed scope and mandatory update and modification rules. An update does not justify an unannounced automatic transfer of your reports to a new central service.

14. Ending use

You may stop local use and remove the software. Export needed reports and backups first. Paid Play subscriptions must additionally be cancelled through Google Play. Delete copies in export folders, with recipients or in backups separately, taking legal or agreed retention duties into account.

Contract termination, refunds and restrictions of a purchased entitlement follow applicable law and the confirmed offer. No arbitrary right is granted to remove a paid entitlement without grounds and the consequences required by law.

15. Consumer rights, law and disputes

The software is aimed especially at small businesses but may also be used by consumers. Mandatory consumer rights are preserved; these terms do not impose a blanket business-only restriction. Applicable law and the competent court follow statutory rules. No exclusive court jurisdiction is imposed to a consumer’s disadvantage.

Initially contact us through the support chat with questions or complaints. The provider is neither willing nor obliged to participate in a procedure before a consumer dispute-resolution body, unless a statutory duty applies in the particular case. Your right to bring claims before the competent court remains available.

16. Changes to these terms

A new version is made available on the website with its date. It applies to future contracts or where validly agreed; publication or silence alone does not change an existing contract. Changes to ongoing digital contracts are subject to statutory information, agreement and any termination rights. If a provision is invalid, statutory rules replace it; no automatically maximised substitute rule is agreed.
