Frequently asked questions
Where is my data stored?+
Android reports and business data are stored locally within the app on the device. Windows Office stores data locally in the Windows user profile. Manual export and explicitly started local transfer are separate user actions.
Are Android and Windows synchronised automatically?+
Business data is not automatically synchronised. The planned Windows connection is explicitly established using its connection address; a QR code is optional. Office requires valid Android activation.
Why can the phone not reach the PC address?+
The PC and smartphone need a reachable route. Check the active LAN or VPN and the firewall. With multiple PC network adapters, the advanced address setting may be needed. The app does not search for other endpoints or set up a VPN.
What is transferred on a retry?+
A retry requires the same endpoint, certificate and authenticated peer. Confirmed retries are processed idempotently.
Can I edit Android data in Windows and send it back?+
Sending corrected Windows data back to Android is not implemented. Preserve original reports and use the documented import/review workflow.
How do I back up reports?+
Android offers manual ZIP backup through the system file picker. Windows offers import/export and an optional local rotating backup in a selected folder; automatic Android cloud backup is disabled.
Why can't I continue editing an exported report?+
On the Android Free plan, editing a version that has already been exported as a PDF is locked. Pro allows editing after PDF export.
Is an email draft sent?+
No. Windows can prepare a local EML draft with attachments. There is no SMTP or sending function.
What can Windows transfer to Android?+
Windows can prepare selected customers and projects for a paired Android device. Android shows a preview and imports the data only after you confirm. Returning edited Windows report revisions is currently unsupported.

BauDoku Office for Windows is being prepared and is not publicly available yet. The office features described show the development version; no Windows download or Store release is offered here yet.
